Hi this is Robin, a member of the creative team over at Fairfield, the makers of the Original Poly-fil® brand fiber fill, Soft Touch® pillows and your favorite selection of interfacing and battings. Our designers have been busy over the past few months preparing for our new “Spaces” design initiative. This program was designed to showcase our products, our partners’ products and our talented designers, while also inspiring you to create your own comfortable spaces using some of these products. This program encourages you to “Get Comfortable” with Fairfield – inside or outside, by creating a space of your own to relax and entertain alfresco style, all summer long.
Hello my crafty and DIY friends! My name is Morena and I’m addicted to Shannon Fabrics. Even though I don’t sew much, I love to use Shannon Fabrics products in my crafting on my site, Morena’s Corner, and in my projects for Fairfield World. I’m excited to show you how I gave my daughter’s room a major makeover by using various faux fur and Cuddle® fabrics. With back to school season just around the corner, this is the perfect time to start making items for your high school and college bound kids. Don’t worry if you don’t sew much…I’m going to show you how beginner friendly Shannon Fabrics products are.
Polly from Pieces by Polly back again with another fun pillow project for you. I’ve always LOVED how Cuddle® bindings look on quilts, so on a whim I decided to try adding a regular quilt binding to some Cuddle® pillows…and my new favorite way of making pillows was born. It’s a great way to add a contrasting Cuddle® fabric. A solid color Cuddle® binding can help keep a busy print grounded…or a Cuddle® print can add a bit more interest to a plainer looking pillow.
This method works equally well for large or small or custom shaped pillows.
